My Sugar Skull Makeup

-
Happy Halloween.!!

Since tomorrow is the day of the dead I thought it was only right to put up this sugar skull . I decided to put my own twist on it since I wanted something different from the usual white face colour pop look.

I created this on top of my regular foundation routine. On my eyes I used my Sleek i-Divine palette in a mix of the colours 'Propose in Prague' and 'A Vow in Venice' (I just love the names.!) all over my lids and in my crease a mix of 'Honeymoon in Hollywood' and 'Bliss in Barcelona'. Under my eyes is 'Court in Cannes' and I used some Glam'eyes Rimmel liquid liner to accentuate those lashes.

I used my all time favorite lipstick the nyx high voltage in the shade 'Twisted' (the colour is not coming through that well in these photos its much brighter in person.!). This colour is definitely not for everyone but on Halloween anyone can pull it off... I however do not restrict myself to to just 'dress up', this gets pulled out quite a lot for a regular day at college. LOVE it.!

For the white detail of the sugar skull I used the nyx Jumbo Eye Pencil in 'milk'. I just made different sized dots in one big circle around my eyes added a skull nose and a little sunken in cheek detail - anyone can do this, its super simple.! To top off the look I got this flower crown with black tulle in Tesco.

Its 'Hocus Pocus and Chill' for me this Halloween.!
I am not good with scary movies - I mean I'm the type that will get that creepy someones behind me feeling for the rest of the day! However this year I'll give it a go and try and watch something scary by myself.
I can always watch Hocus Pocus if its all a fail.!

Jewellery Box Faves

-
Take a sneek peek into my jewelry box...
Here are some of my favorites.!

Lets start with my watch.
This is a simple Sekonda watch that I treated myself to this summer. I always liked big watches and when I saw this I just had to have it! It instantly stands out with its white colour and I love love love the orange detail.! This is without doubt on my wrist every single day.

My favorite necklace in my jewelry box is by far my Mi Moneda one. I especially love the fact you can change out the coins... You can build a collection of coins and each one makes you feel like your wearing a totally different necklace. As well as this lilac coin I also have a turquoise one (left it in my bedroom from college- sorry!)

Truth time: I was never a fan of the Alex and Ani bracelets but this year I got some for my birthday and can I just say I have totally changed my mind.  I was so worried that they would just fall off my wrists (I have small hands hence why I wear fake nails.!) but they actually don't and fit so well. Now I really want more! I wear these quite a lot and my favorite thing to do right now it mix sliver and gold! I have my birthstone in both sliver and gold and a gold skeleton key (gotta have that key when you turn 21.! lol)

Lets talk budget.!
Fun fact about me - I'm totally obsessed with the Kardashians...their style is just to die for.!!
So obviously it was Kylie Jenner who directed my attention to the Cartier LOVE bracelets (you know those ones that are screwed around your wrist?). But if your like me and you don't have a Kardashian bank account turn your attention to Penneys (or Primark depending on where you live). You can now get that designer look without the designer price tag. I have the silver bangles but from scrolling through Penneys Instagram I'm now on the hunt for them in gold too.
...And to the future man in my life take note I want the real thing.!

Autumn Makeup Look

-
I absolutely love this makeup look for Autumn. I started with a base of Infallible 24H by L'Oreal and can I just say that this is one of my favorite foundations - partly because it caters for pale skin (Im wearing porcelain). I eventually found a nyx stand after looking for one everywhere and I was so excited to try their contour and highlight Wonder Stick (I'm loving it.!)

Since I have blue eyes I always like to wear brown shades of eye shadow to make my eyes pop and the Urban Decay Naked palette is my favorite. I recently got the Sleek i-Divine Vintage Romance Palette from my best friend who raves about the brand and now I see why - their shadows are soo pigmented! Since I got this I've been reaching for it more than my naked palette.

Its that time of the year again where we can all pull out our berry shades of lipstick. This year I'm loving these two shades... I like to wear this Rimmel one in the shade Vintage Pink as an every day casual look and when I'm feeling bold - like today - I'll wear Viva Glam III from Mac. I love this lipstick soo soo much (as you can see its well worn down!) it just brings something extra to even a simple makeup look.

Autumn is my favorite time of year - and not just because my birthdays in October. This time of year we can get all cuddled up in warm jackets, fluffy scarfs and cute hats to protect us from the cold and come home to a warm inviting fire. Plus I think the world looks a little nicer with a filter of orange brown and purple tones...
